01 Eligibility

03 User Accounts and Conduct

To access certain features you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

Prohibited Conduct. You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws, including the Philippine Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.
• Post content that is abusive, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, or promotes illegal activities.
• Distribute spam or unauthorised advertising in our community.
• Scrape, data-mine, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the operation of the platform.

04 User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting it, you grant Headstart PH a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display and distribute your content on the platform. We may moderate or remove content that violates these Terms. Headstart PH is not liable for financial advice or opinions shared by users in community forums.

05 Intellectual Property

All original content — module structures, text, graphics, logos, calculators, code, and design — is the exclusive property of Headstart PH and protected by Philippine and international intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, personal, non-commercial licence to view and use content for your own educational purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.

06 Third-Party Links and Tools

The platform may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., BIR, DFA, digital banks). These are provided for convenience only. Headstart PH does not endorse or control these sites and is not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

07 Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Headstart PH disclaims all warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any calculators or information will be perfectly accurate or up-to-date.

08 Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HEADSTART PH, ITS FOUNDERS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING FINANCIAL LOSSES, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR DATA LOSS — ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM.

09 Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless Headstart PH and its founders from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from (a) your use of the platform, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any third-party right including copyright or privacy rights.

10 Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the platform at any time. We may update these Terms and will notify you by updating the Effective Date above. Continued use after changes implies acceptance of the new Terms.

11 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of the Philippines.
